The Odds Against Them Were 10,000 to 1...But What the Hell!

Explosive high adventure! A mission more daring than silencing the "Guns".

Force 10 From Navarone was a sequel to the 1961 blockbuster The Guns of Navarone and tells the tale of ten widely divergent WW II troubleshooters who attempt to blow up a crucial bridge in Yugoslavia. As in the first Navarone film, one of the guerillas is a traitor: group leader Mallory (Robert Shaw) knows the identity of the turncoat, but can't prove it until it's almost too late. The beautiful female resistance leader is played by Barbara Bach, while Harrison Ford, fresh from his Star Wars success, is the romantic lead. Others in the cast include Edward Fox, Franco Nero and Alan Badel.

Force 10 from Navarone is a 1978 British produced war film loosely based on Alistair MacLean's 1968 novel of the same name. It is a sequel to the 1961 film, The Guns of Navarone. The parts of Mallory and Miller are played by Robert Shaw and Edward Fox, succeeding the roles originally portrayed by Gregory Peck and David Niven. It was directed by Guy Hamilton and also stars Harrison Ford, Carl Weathers, Barbara Bach, Franco Nero, and Richard Kiel.

After being screened at Camp David as the Thanksgiving movie for U.S. President Jimmy Carter, the movie was released theatrically in the United States on December 8, 1978 to mixed reviews.[4] Review aggregations website Rotten Tomatoes gives it a score of 64% based on 11 reviews
