When New York attorney Gordon Hocheiser meets Louise Callan, the girl of his dreams, he schemes to eliminate his aging, senile mother, even though he promised his late father that he'd always take care of her. He fears that his batty mom's eccentricities will shortly lead to Louise's departure.

Probably the only movie in history sold in posters about a man's "tush". Not many people liked George Segal's butt because the movie was a notorious flop.
It later became one of the first true cult movies when UA started booking it into midnight screenings. Thus, this gave 70 something Ruth Gordon the distinction Queen of the Cult Movies as 1971's HAROLD AND MAUDE also flopped before becoming an enormous cult classic , playing over a year in some theaters.
