I'm 24 and grew up with VHS through the 90's and learned how to tape TV shows in 2003 or 2004. All my VHS got sold when my parents had a yard sale in 2010, 2011, and 2012, and in August 2014 through various posts of inspiration online I went to the local salvation army and looked at the VHS and found they were priced 40 cents a tape. I ended up taking home so many, about 60 and loved them. It went off from there and I shopped on ebay and amazon as well as goodwill. I also have a 98% complete network-aired taping of all seasons of ALF that my parents recorded in the 80's.
